When setting up you dog fence for the first time the use of training flags are use to help determine where the dog fence boundary starts. The flags are used in the training proceedure for your dog or cat, you will simply walk your dog around the boundary making it aware of the flags and that when it goes beyond them they hear a warning sound followed by a correction if it continues further into the boundary. (We recommend following the instructions hand book provided along with your installation and training DVD if self installing)
The flags are kept in place for the first few weeks to help your pet learn the boundary faster. After a few weeks take every other flag out and leave for another week before removing further flags, repeat until you have gradually them all lifted.
It is recommended to keep your boundary flags incase of a new addition to the dog fence to help with introducing it to the boundary.
If you require additional flags they can be purchased sperately @ £12/€15 per bundle of 25 flags
